Club Information:

The London Raiders is a not for profit mixed gay and lesbian softball club based in South London our home ground is in Wandsworth Common.

Wandsworth Common Training Location We practice on Sunday afternoons throughout the softball season, normally from 2.00pm. We run Open/Club days on the first Sunday of the month especially for new joiners to come along give Softball a try and to meet the Raiders.

If you want to join us pop along and enjoy a great Sunday afternoon on the common. Look out for the Raiders shirts.

When you get to Wandsworth Common train station head past the The Hope Pub, then down Bellevue Road and you will find us on the common just before you reach Althorp Road. (Under the red arrow.)

Transport information & location:

Trains
The train line that goes through Wandsworth Common starts at Victoria. On Sundays, trains depart at :08, :20, :38 and :50 minutes past the hour. It is a 10-minute journey that stops at Battersea Park and Clapham Junction first. Wandsworth train station is situated adjacent to the pitch

The train line runs through Balham overland station. It's a 2-minute journey by train from Balham to Wandsworth Common. There is a less frequent train service from London Bridge but it takes more than 30 minutes.

Buses
G1 bus from Clapham South is a 6-minute journey. There is only one each hour (49 minutes past the hour).

219 or 319 bus from Tooting Bec is a 20-minute journey. There are 5 buses each hour.
